Trevor Walsh Mental Health Center

Trevor Walsh is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) who has been supporting the Vancouver community since the mid-1990s.

His professional journey began in addiction recovery programs, an experience that deepened his understanding of the emotional distress underlying substance use and psychological struggles.

With a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and extensive training in trauma-informed care, Trevor focuses on helping clients reduce suffering and improve their quality of life through a compassionate, growth-oriented approach.

His practice integrates a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Experiencing.

Trevor’s work is heavily informed by his background in sociology and ongoing education in treating trauma, allowing him to support clients in navigating anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional regulation.

Based in the vibrant Grandview-Woodland area, he provides a grounded and professional space for individuals seeking healing and long-term psychological resilience.
