Highlife Records was founded in 1982 and is run by Kevin Finseth. It is situated in Vancouver's vibrant Commercial Drive district amid Italian coffee bars, Chinese green grocers and a wide variety of funky eateries.

The shop is home to a distinctive hand-picked selection of great music from around the world and around the corner. At a glance you will find a wide range of recording artists, from Tom Waits to Tinariwen, Curtis Mayfield to Manu Chao, Bon Iver to Bob Marley.

Our goal is to keep on finding the jewels in the rough. We carry new and used CDs, Vinyl, music DVDs, classic films, and music related books.
