Description
I’m Ali-Joy — a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia with a lifelong love for movement, artistry, somatic intelligence and the healing power of touch. My path has woven together athletics, the arts, bodywork and motherhood, and all of it shapes the way I show up for your body on the table.
I’m someone who has always lived through movement, creativity, and touch. I grew up on the water as a competitive rower, learning early how breath, rhythm, and resilience shape a person. At the same time, the arts were home for me — theatre design, mime work in Edmonton, and the rich world of performance taught me how energy, environment, colour, and story affect the nervous system just as much as muscles do.
Before becoming an RMT, I spent years in the film industry in the art department, building atmospheres and telling stories through spaces. When I became a mother, everything shifted. I wanted a life and a career that were more human, more heart-forward, and more aligned with how I naturally cared for people.
